We like to add a little math to our art by creating clever formulas that make efficient use of our time and materials. To help you in your OWH AnyHero card-making endeavors, we have taken Sketch #115, and developed a clever cutting formula to help you crank out a dozen cards in a jiffy! It uses only nine sheets of 8-1/2x11" paper, and there is absolutely NO waste! Scrap that!
If you like the Unmounted Stamps we used from our Military collection, you'll want to be sure to snag a sheet of those while they last! They are SO cool!
For those who need to know the guidelines for creating cards for OWH, please click here. They are important. (Thinks like "no glitter" keeps our troops safe.)
Without further delay, these are the "dirty dozen" Hero Mail cards we made.
You can seriously make these cards in minutes with little to no waste of paper. You can see that the cards are similar, yet all a bit different. You can make changes as you like, or just keep them all the same if you don't bore easily!
This is the unmounted stamp sheet that we used. It's amazing how much detail comes through on the dog tag, boots, flag and eagle images.
Have a ball! Let us know how the card assembly goes!
Awesome way to use the sketch in different ways! Love these images - they are perfect for OWH! Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
