I had a similar "label" die and embossing folder. Stamps from the Wild Flowers (script) and Nature's Wonders (stems) UMs worked well for the background on the label. My Come Sail Away stencil made easy work of the greeting banner, too.

This is another great SCS entry by fionna51. I really liked the tone on tone look of stamping with Versamark ink and I LOVED the color combo. Here's my version:
Again, I made use of the UMs from Wild Flowers, Just Dandy and Nature's Wonders, along with Versamark ink. The greeting is from a Henna UM from YEARS ago...stamped with our new Ash Hybrid ink. (My scanner didn't pick up the contrast as nicely as I would have liked, but I think you get the idea.)

Sometimes the inspiration isn't quite so literal...sometimes I'm just inspired by the overall feel of the card. I really liked the color wash/watercolor blending effect of the above card. So I grabbed my metallic gelatos and Bon Appetit Unmounted Stamps and this is what I came up with:
Finally, I have a whole board on Pinterest dedicated to papercrafting techniques. When I did the Bold Blooms Greetings to Go cards back in August, I was inspired to try a technique called Acrylic Resist...where you use white acrylic paint to stamp your image, and then use your Ink Applicator tool to color the entire background. The paint "resists" the ink...so cool!
