At this year's Retreat, Club Scrap introduced our new neon products:
Neon Hybrid Ink Pads and
Neon Ink Dabbers. I snapped up the package of six neon dabbers right away, but my weekend at Silver Birch was the first chance I had to play with them.

Neon Doodles UM stamps with dabbers in Pink, Orange, Yellow. |
The ink colors are so vibrant and saturated. I couldn't believe how bright and fun they were! They pair perfectly with the
Neon Doodles UM stamps from Tricia's Retreat workshop. I was on a card-making mission last weekend in effort to restock my stash for upcoming card swaps, and these stamps and inks were my favorite of the weekend.

Neon Doodles UM with Green, Blue, Yellow dabbers, Take Wing Greeting UM |
After a quick demo from Tricia, I was off and running. The dabbers work great direct-to-paper, for inking direct-to-stamps, as well as using for stencil techniques. I love products that are versatile!
Here are a couple more cards I made:

Tribal Masking stencil, Tribal Art Nouveau UM, Purple dabbers |

If you've already purchased the
Neon Dabbers, I encourage you to get them out an play with them. If you don't own them yet, I highly recommend them!
Creatively yours,
Karen

ReplyDeletelove the colors of your cards. I might even get to play with mine now
Karen, your cards came out great! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI loved the retreat class with the doodle stamps & neon colors. I bought the whole shebang (neon daubers, re-inkers & stamps) and have really enjoyed 'playing' with them but you have given me more ideas -stencils!
ReplyDeleteI was wow-ed when Tricia shared the stencil technique with me. Thanks, Tricia!
DeleteI wish I could see your cards. All I see is a message from Photobucket that says "Sorry. This person moved or deleted this image."

DeleteSorry...all fixed!
DeleteHi Donna Lee and Linda, I was made aware of the issue and am contacting Karen.
ReplyDeleteLove these cards Karen! These are some of my favorite stamps Club Scrap has come out with and I love the neon too!
ReplyDeleteLove your cards, Karen. So fun and cheerful!
ReplyDeleteWhich stencil technique are we discussing? Is it similar to how we use gelatos with stencils?
ReplyDeleteI use the dabber to stencil the Tribal Masking Stencil onto a card panel. Next, we moved the inky stencil to another sheet and rubbed it with a baby wipe, thus distributing the remaining ink onto the panel. It created that softer look. So, yes--I think so, Pam!
DeleteLove these cards. So glad I have the dabblers to play with!
