Happy Consecutive Numbers Day! (I made that up.)
Speaking of dates, we just got Deb a brand spankin' new dater stamp, and it's got to be one of the largest self-inking dater stamps I've ever seen.
I think you're really going to like it.
Every time Deb packs kits, the first step is to stamp something on the box to identify the kit. Imagine . . . Deb lovingly inked and stamped thousands and thousands of boxes during her ten-plus year tenure at Club Scrap! Ink. Stamp. Ink. Stamp. Ink. Stamp. You get the idea.
Deb's new self-inking dater stamp will be much more helpful in identifying the month, year and club of each shipment. It will be stamped on the front edge of the box so you can easily see what's in the stack. (Chances are you have a stack, right?) Plus, Deb can just stamp, stamp, stamp, stamp, stamp, and skip the inking part.
This box is going to contain the November Lite collection for 2013. It ships on Friday!
What are your plans for this very special Consecutive Numbers Day?

Gonna miss the kit stamp a little but this will work out really well - thanks for keeping us moving forward! I hope it makes Deb's work a little easier too!!
ReplyDeleteI tried to convince dbf (of now 11 years!) that we should get married today. But I only suggested it this morning so I guess that won't happen today ;) Love the new stamp!
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion is to start working on him now for 12-13-14. Just over a year away and it's a Saturday so you could enjoy the whole weekend! Just sayin. . .
DeleteI'm in. Lori's suggestion is brilliant!

DeleteAwesome stamp!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool!! Love Deb's new date stamp and really will make life so much easier for her.
ReplyDeleteWell! I am sooooooooo NOT going to waste the whole day CLEANING!! What kind of a plan was that?? No, no....it's officially a *special* occasion that NEEDS to be properly celebrated. In fact--I think that I should make a card! But wait! why make just ONE if you already have all of your stuffins out?? Yes, my "special" day is shaping up just fiiiiiiiine!! Thanks for showing me the err of not marking my calendar better ;-) hahaha
ReplyDeleteLove your idea!
DeleteWork then hang out with my 3 year old while Daddy and the 8 year old head off to church. Oh, and laundry. When the girls are in bed, I'll try to find the energy to work on my cards for the Christmas exchange.
ReplyDeleteHey any 'reason' to stamp is a good day in my book! Like the new dater stamp - I got a stack goin' - this will help.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Carolyn... I'll miss seeing the kit stamp on the box. But I'm all for making Deb's work much easier!
ReplyDeleteIf you happen to receive any stamps with your kits, maybe a stamp could be added to the box once they've been mounted. :)?
DeleteLove it. I've been writing the date in that exact spot for over nine years now. You're saving me a step!
ReplyDeleteFor us Dutch people,11-12-13 is in December! We have the day of the month always before the number of the month, so i get to celebrate this special day next month! But the stamp is awesome and this date makes a wonderful wedding date (or annyversary or birthday). I had a great Oma day today with a visit t Ikea, My Fire & Ice box arrived and I am going to cut my stamps now! Well spend day.
ReplyDeletewhat a good thing for Deb to have for the boxes and fun to play with
