Monochromatic Serenity Card -- New Video!

It's already September 4th, but it's the first official business day of the month, and your kits are leaving the loading dock today! Finally!

To get you through the "in transit" days ahead, I thought you might like to view a quickie video on how to use just one inkpad and unmounted sheet to make a "monochromatic" card. This card uses our pretty Sapphire ink paired with the brand spankin' new Serenity CS Unmounted stamp sheet.

And just to make sure I wasn't leading anyone astray, I wanted to see if the method worked the same way when using a different sheet of CS Unmounted stamps with a different color scheme . . . this time, the lovely Amethyst ink paired with the BonAppetit CS Unmounted stamp sheet.

Here's the video, cuz we all know that a video is worth a billion words!

If you were to try this technique today, what would be your stamp/color combination? Give it a whirl while you wait for your Serenity kit to arrive!

  1. Great and beautiful cards, Tricia and thanks for the video. Love the UM stamps.
I just checked my inkpads and I still miss 4 colors. So I come and get them soon!

    1. Hetty: Beware the beloved pro-shop! You'll find alot more than those 4 inkpads! Have fun! Marie

  2. Very nice techniques! Love the color you used, but I might try a celadon-ishy green of some kind. Blue or even grey would be nice, too.

  3. I'm with Lucy - I think I would try it in Leaf. I love that color. Oooh, or Lagoon. Love that color too. :)

  4. Beautiful, Tricia! But so simple....love it!

  5. LOVE LOVE LOVE this technique and those stamps are sooooo cool!
