"Color"

Creative Greetings from Kay here at Club Scrap,

With the great Collage Stamp Sale starting today, I just had to show you the fun I've been having with the Color In Black & White Wood Mount Stamp.

It's a great stamp for fun colorful techniques on cards, but first, I wanted to show how perfect it was for this Summer School Art Class scrapbook page of mine.

Marilee really enjoyed summer school this year, her favorite class was Art Class. This melted Crayon project was such a fun one that I snapped a pic of her with it when she got home.

Like all projects, there was some assembly required, so I grabbed some fun colors from my cardstock scrap stash and started stamping and trimming.

Thinking this was a fun way to add color to the "color" stamp!

I'm going a bit off-topic now, but the other day I walked by these Giant Photo Corners in the GHM dept., so, I just had to use them on this page too. Since I was already in the midst of snappin' a few pics, I wanted to show the scoring and assembly of these fun giant photo corners in the process also.

Alright, back on track - more fun with this "Color In Black & White" Stamp! Below is a completely different look done using the same stamp.

Watercolor crayons and water mist created this look. There was a little black ink remaining on my stamp before I started the process, so the crayon color is darker where I started and got brighter as I went along,  a different look achieved by accident really, but I think it's a fun look.

A big mess? or art? you decide...but I like it.

So I put together some fun, refreshing, colorful cards.

As you can see, I've enjoyed the couple of projects I got to whip up using this stamp (along with all the color I got to work with). Enjoy the great stamp sale!
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Awesome layout and cards, Kay!! Color in Black & White is one of my all-time favorite kits - alas, I've used up all of my paper from that kit, but I still have that beautiful stamp - thanks for the inspiration to make something really beautiful with it!!
