Club Scrap is Hittin' the Road!

Happy Monday, everyone!

I'm excited to announce that after a nearly 8-year hiatus, Club Scrap is hittin' the convention circuit again. Yep, it's been a looooooong time, so we're starting out slow, dipping our toe in the water, so to speak. We're going to start out close to home this year (Midwest), but if this convention season goes well, who knows? Maybe we'll be in YOUR neck of the woods real soon! Here's the line-up:

We are super-excited about our upcoming shows. We're ready to get out there, meet new friends, catch up with old friends, teach workshops, and share what Club Scrap has to offer.

At the core of our little convention tour is our Workshops. Tricia will be teaching our fabulous Assembly Line Scrapbooking method at each of the shows listed above. We are also thrilled to host a booth at Milwaukee and Novi. (Keep your fingers crossed, we're on a waiting list for booths at Illinois and Minnesota!) So mark your calendars if you'll be in the neighborhood for any of these conventions...we'd LOVE to see you!

****In the Milwaukee area next weekend?****
We have SIX free tickets to the Scrapbook Expo Convention at Wisconsin State Fair Park. Leave a comment below if you'd like a chance to win a free ticket!

Creatively yours,
Karen

  1. WOW, very cool, but if my name is drawn please put it back in the drawing as I am not anywhere near Milwaukee. :)

Maybe someday you will come to Massachusetts for a visit :)

  2. I first fell in love in 2001 in Milwaukee! May many travel down my path.

  3. I met Tricia before I realized who she was doing a stencil demo with a pear stencil, circa 2001, in New Jersey. It was pre-embellishment pack, so I hooked up with fibers and eyelets of the month from two companies that I think are gone now, and loaded up on sparkly blue paper from a December kit that I can't remember the name of. Also did a workshop with Kay using UMs. Great times! I hope something brings you back to the east coast!!!!! btw, if my name happens to be drawn, pick someone else, please... if I could make it to WI, it would be to a real retreat!!

    1. Wow--great memories, Patti! I remember doing a NJ show with my mom, and we had the BEST of times! I'm really looking forward to our next "tour"! And I think that kit was called "Sparkle". :)

  7. Oh, this IS exciting news!!! I'm another one who was first introduced to CS at the Milwaukee Expo! I seem to recall it was in a hotel near the airport and the booth was just inside the entrance so it was the first one I encountered.

I'll never forget the visceral response I had to the papers and samples displayed. And then saw the RUBBER!!! Holy Hot Socks!!! Gorgeous images...gorgeous rubber...unbelievable price!! I walked out with 3 kits (no club stamp avaible at the show, so I grabbed the scrap kits and some rubber--heaven!) and a membership. That was 2004 and I still am continually impressed with the quality and unique artistry.

Also did the class offered -- I think Karen taught it? A flip book, maybe?

I'm going to bring Megan (niece) with me if she has the day off! Expect some hugs!!!!

    1. Omigosh...how funny, Cyndy! I loved teaching at the conventions and meeting people.

Let's all cross our fingers that these Midwest shows are a success, because that means we can do more!
