Aspen Club Stamp ships today! (Just had to tell you that because I'm so excited about this month's collection!)
Each month, we invite a guest artist to create a set of cards, using supplies from our Greetings to Go pack. Our Aspen guest artist was Janet Moran, one of our long-time members from Georgia.
The Greetings to Go package contains enough supplies to create fifteen greeting cards. Our designers put together five each of three different card sizes/designs, with coordinating panels and envelopes. The sets of five are divided into Set A, B and C in the Greetings to Go samples Tricia creates each month.
This is Janet's first time as a Greetings to Go Guest Artist, and she did an amazing job! Let me take you on a little tour of her completed cards.
Set A: 4½x6¼” Green Cards
Don't you just love that sweet Tic-Tac-Toe board? It was created using Aspen Club Scrap Wood Veneer for the grid and stitched fibers and a small leaf image stamp for the X's and O's. I also really like the hint of sparkle the torn bits of Mica Handmade paper adds to several of her cards.
Set B: 4¼x5½” Almond Cards
Use a snowflake punch to make a mask to create a snowy background. |
Torn papers add interest and texture. |
Finally, Janet used the smallest five cards to create a coordinating set of cards all tied up with ribbon that's ready for gift-giving. I love this idea!
Set C: 3 ½ x5” Aqua Cards
Janet did a great job, didn't she? Using five out of the fifteen cards as a small last-minute gift is so clever!
Creatively yours,
Karen

ReplyDeleteOooh, I love that Rhapsody kit! It really grew on me and then I used it all up! One thing I love about the Rap items being on the blog now is seeing the cards up close, and it's so much easier to pin them this way. And we can get some insight as to how they were made.
