February 2014 - Big Deal Collection

Welcome to your new collection for February . . . Big Deal!

A Note From Tricia
With the first of the month unfortunately falling on a Saturday, your kits are prepped and ready to leave the warehouse on Monday morning. May they land on your doorsteps quickly!

Today is opening day for Boot Camp registration. We look forward to offering the inspiration and companionship needed to accomplish your crafting goals for 2014. My favorite part of this boot camp is that it doesn't require push ups, sit ups, or long morning runs. You'll just be sweating it out in your crafting space!

We're packing and gearing up for our first Scrapbook Expo in Grapevine, TX, on February 21-22. I'll be teaching a series of three Efficient Scrapbooking workshops and look forward to meeting up with several members at the show. Be prepared to welcome some newbies to the fold!

With the migration of monthly membership processing to the shopping cart completed, we continue to work on a few of the challenges created by our unique business model. (With-kit orders, membership add-ons and amendments are apparently not typical in most monthly clubs.) Phase three of our website maintenance is about to begin. This includes an overhaul of the Community Forum, revisions to the "Join" landing page, and a major update to our Gallery. These improvements are absolutely critical as the current software is no longer supported after serving us well for the past decade. Please pardon our dust during the remodel.

What's Ahead?
With winter's fierce grip on the nation, we're beyond ready for signs of spring. We plan to celebrate the upcoming budding season with a theme suggested by member Jodi B.--Trees. With the neutral tones and images of the collection, subtle textures of the paper, and the handmade specialty stock we've ordered, you'll want to build a nest for this kit!

  6. Oooo Trees! Sounds like a great kit, how exciting! There goes my birthday money :) Boot Camp sounds like it's exactly what I need since I tend to hoard my kits-I've already signed up. Thanks so much for this wonderful opportunity to have lots of fun and create layouts, cards and finally get some of those hoarded projects made.
When you overhaul the Community Forum in Galleria-will the kits section that shows all of the CS kits still remain?
