Repurposing Wood Mounted Rubber Stamps

Creative Friday Greetings to you!

Wondering what to do with old wood mounts from rubber stamps that you've converted into unmounted rubber stamps? This is a fun little project, creating an accordion using old wooden stamp blocks.

To remove the rubber stamp from the wooden block, just place it in the microwave for 10, 20 or 30 seconds, depending upon your microwave. This softens the adhesive and the rubber stamp will just peel right off the block. Then the wooden blocks are ready for sanding, painting and decorating.

I'll let the pictures do the talking!

I used the Aspen Unmounted Rubber Stamps to decorate the panels before attaching.

A black cardstock hinge is used to connect the painted wooden blocks.

Of course the other side can look completely different!

As always, thank you for stopping by Club Scrap Creates!

Wishing you a creative weekend!
