Weathered Florals is kind of a big deal...

With February's theme being Big Deal, we had a blast with the vintage game and playing card motif. At one of our recent marketing meetings, we were tossing around ideas, and Deb came up with Crazy 8's. With Saturday on the 8th of the month, we thought it would be fun to surprise our online shoppers with the 8th order of the day (and the 18th, and the 28th and so on) receiving one of our exclusive Weathered Florals collections. So that's exactly what we did!

So why is Weathered Florals such a big deal to us? You see, the collection cannot be purchased. It can only be earned (or, in this case, received) as a free gift from Club Scrap. So if your name isn't listed as one of the lucky few above, and you'd like a Weathered Florals collection of your own, you can get one by simply referring your crafty friends to Club Scrap. 25 Days of Giveaways

We appreciate our members, customers and fans so much, we're continuing the spirit of giving thanks beyond the Thanksgiving holiday straight through to Christmas with Club Scrap's 25 Days of Giveaways.

During the move, Beth and Deb unearthed a stash of one-of-a-kind kits, and we're giving one away each day from December 1 to December 25. How does it work? The "vintage" kit of the day will be listed at the end of each post. (FYI: Club Scrap included paper tape as a kit goodie waaaaay before washi tape was considered "hot"!)

Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses 

across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated 

every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. 

Happy Saturday! Today is "Small Business Saturday". What the heck is that? Well, it's a day designed to remind us how important it is to support small local businesses. Small businesses need our support, not just today, but throughout the year. Why not stop into that cute coffee shop on the corner, or the "Mom and Pop" bakery downtown with yummy aromas wafting from it, or the small family restaurant where you can still get the "Hamburger/Malt Special" for $5.99?
