I thought it might be fun to feature images from the Come Sail Away collection with some No. 9 cards so that you can see how quickly and easily they can come together! And today's giveaway includes a Come Sail Away kit with a Greetings to Go Side order. (To be included in the opportunity to win, simply leave a comment below before midnight tonight.) This batch of cards was designed to work specifically with the nifty text on the Come Sail Away Unmounted FontArt sheet.
Ingredients:
(3) 12x12 Papers (Color A, B and C) - Serenity Dark Blue, Yellow and White Pattern Plains
(3) 8.5x11 Papers (Color D, E and F) - Serenity Light Blue, Dark Gray and Light Gray Plains
Time to cut. Use your smarticles, folks, it's a "tall order". ha ha. (groan.)
Trim 12x12 Paper A, B and C at 11.75 and 8.5". Trim the 8.5x12 horizontally at 11.5, 9.25 and 7". Cut each 2.25x8.5 horizontally at 7.75". Trim the .5x7.5 horizontally at 7.75". Cut the 3.25x12 horizontally at 8.25". Score the 7x8.5 vertically at 3.5" and fold into a card.
Cut 8.5x11 Paper D, E, and F horizontally at 10.25 and 7". Trim the 3.25x8.5 horizontally at 8.25. Cut the .75x8.5 horizontally at 8.25". Score the 7x8.5 vertically at 3.5" and fold in half.
Use a CS® Grid Ruler as a mounting block for those nifty, long text strips on the FontArt sheet. Stamp onto the 2.25x7.75" panels. After that, it's simply a matter of choosing how to mix 'n match all of the paper colors, stamped panels, and anchoring strips.

And a few of the details . . . it's so much fun to grab items from my stash of embellishments! Jewels, Dazzles, fibers, brads, etc. Just a little thing here 'n there makes a big difference.
