May 2014 - Dungarees Collection

Overall, we're quite thrilled with our newest arrival . . . Dungarees!

A Note from Tricia
It was on June 1, 1999 when we shipped the very first Club Scrap collection to 45 daring members. We are looking forward to celebrating our fifteenth anniversary with you and have some very special plans in the mix. Be sure to keep up with the latest festivities on the blog and join in the fun!

We had a blast at the Milwaukee Scrapbook Expo last weekend. We welcomed a group of new members into the fold while reuniting with some great gals who joined us last year. Nearly 100 students took our Efficient Scrapbooking workshops!

The monthly birthday swap for our June babies is in full swing. Join us and use your card stash to spread some birthday cheer to your fellow scrapping friends! And did you know it's National Scrapbooking Month? Stop in the Coffeehouse to see last year's daily challenge thread, and be sure to check the blog on Saturday for this year's challenge.

What's Ahead?
I don't know about you, but everyone here at Club Scrap is ready for a summer Picnic! We're so glad Janet M. suggested this cheerful theme for the month of June. You should have all of your ALSB pages assembled just in time to commemorate your fun outdoor plans for the season. The collection papers will include bright, happy colors with four unique paper textures. (In full disclosure, smooth is a texture.)

  1. Yippppeeeee! Actually Picnic was an idea mom and I had together on the long drive home from last year's August retreat so I have to share credit! I like the Dungarees colors a lot more than I originally thought =)

  4. Can't wait to see more of Dungarees. Very versatile colors! And PICNIC! Wheeeee! I think I did help with that idea a little. I am expecting some ants crawling across a page that looks like a red and white checked tablecloth. ;-)

  7. I'm a dungarees fan from way, way back, so I look forward to playing with the May kit. I love the muted shades. And picnic -- let's hope we actually have a summer this year to picnic in!

  8. I am so excited about "my" kit! I can hardly wait to see it in person. Is there anyway to speed the arrival of my PB? And Picnic sounds great also.

  9. So can we wear our Dungarees to the Picnic? I am hoping the colors will be similar with more texture and you can't forget a checkered tablecloth, right? -Kenda
